Why we only accept credit card payment.

We have had several inquiries about why we only accept payment by credit card.

Here's why:

Security

We use high security encryption technology to ensure that your data remains safe and private. We also double check on authorization of the card and in cases when the card name and shipping name are different in our data bases.

Cheques (Personal/Cashier) and Money Orders

We don't accept these forms of payment because of the time and expense involved in processing them.

Please understand that we are based in Tokyo, Japan and cheques/money orders are rarely used here. To process a cheque involves our accountants contacting a Japanese bank, who will then contact the bank of the cheque's origin in your country, who will then contact the Japanese bank, who will eventually - after at least a month - contact us back. This processing costs about 5,000 Japanese Yen, which we would be forced to pass onto you...

Cash

Dealing with cash is a time-consuming and not completely secure method of handling with an international transaction.

Coins cannot be exchanged, forcing us to round up the costs. (We don't wanna do that!)

I don't have a credit card!

If you are too young to have a credit card, or you just don't have one you can use someone else's card. If you do this however please ask the card holder to e-mail Animaxis Information Desk at

with a brief explanation as to why the card-holder's name and the shipping name are different.

Which credit cards do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard and JCB credit cards.
