A lovely music box figure from the Studio Ghibli anime "Porco Rosso" (Kurenai no Buta).
This music box figure depicts the boss of the air pirate "Manma Aiutto Gang"; Manma Aiutto, holding his gun. The front side of the music box is very well made in finest details, with great face expression of Manma, and the way his old and well-used gun. Its back side is also brilliantly made, which describes the quality of the clothes he wears, and the gun holder. When you turn the screw, you can see Manma Aiutto slowly circling, with a beautiful music.
This music box figure is made of porcelain, and it plays the theme music of the film "Sakuranbo no minoru koro" (The Time of Cherries).
