T he Anime - Kazuki - our main character - is in his last year of High school.

His weird supa-otaku classmate encourages him to start drawing doujin manga and this is where the story really begins...

Through drawing and publishing his first manga and attending manga events Kazuki gets to meet a lot of cute girls along the way! Also he begins to learn the spirit of doujinshi - the freedom of drawing what you want to draw.

But life is not all rosy - a conflict arises between him and his best friend (and potential love interest) Mizuki. Mizuki, who he's been friends with since the beginning of Junior High school, is not interested in manga at all and can't relate to his new found passion. Plus it doesn't help that he's suddenly become surrounded by several cute girls...

Mizuki feels more and more isolated from Kazuki - what will happen to their friendship? Is there any chance of them getting together now? Will Kazuki fulfill his new dream of becoming a famous doujinshi creator?

The Game - Follows pretty much the same basic storyline of the anime except YOU are the role of Kazuki and create your own scenes and conversations with the girls. Not only that there seems to be a saucier version - classified as over 18...

Both the anime and the games have become very popular in Japan and there are dozens of websites (all in Japanese) dedicated to Comic Party, often including entire episodes that the person has created!

There are also game events held almost every month all over Japan - the following is HUGE!

Male Characters

Kazuki Sendou - The main character of the anime series. He's a third year High school student, but he's already decided on which University to go to, so he has a lot of time on his hands. He is influenced by his eccentric classmate Taishi to start drawing doujinshi and manages to meet lots of cute girls through doing it.

Taishi Kuhonbutsu - Kazuki's weirdo classmate. Being a full-on otaku he drags Kazuki into the doujin world...
