"Higurashi no Naku Koro ni" Cast and Theme Announced
The voice cast and theme song for the upcoming "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni" TV anime (Ryuu Kishi 07) have been revealed. The series debuts this April.
Originating as an amateur-produced sound novel, "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni" is one of the doujin fan industry's recent success stories. Plans for a TV anime adaptation were reported in an article last year, but the details were unclear until now.
The anime will feature the vocal talent of:
- Keiichi Maebara (Main Character) - Souichirou Hoshi (Mobile Suit Gundam SEED (Kira Yamato), Sukinamonowa Sukidakara Shouganai!! (Sunao, Ran), Ai yori Aoshi (Kaoru), GUN x SWORD (Michael Gallet), Harukanaru Toki no Nakade - Hachiyousho (Eisen))
- Rena Ryugu - Mai NakaharaiMai-HiME (Mai), Onegai Twins (Miina), Keroro Gunso (Rie), SPIRAL -Suiri no Kizuna- (Sayoko))
